Production Method
Essential Oils: The concentrated volatile oily compounds extracted from plants. This includes the top aromatic oil layer from steam distillation or extracts from other methods like cold pressing, CO₂supercritical extraction, or solvent extraction.
Hydrosols: Also known as floral waters; the bottom aromatic water layer produced during steam distillation. It contains water plus trace amounts of aromatic molecules.
Bach Flower Essences: Water that carries the energetic frequency of plants. Created by the "sun method" (soaking flowers in water under direct sunlight) or the "boiling method," then removing the plant material.
When to Use
Essential Oils: Mainly for physiological adjustments and some emotional support. They are highly potent and require dilution.
Hydrosols: Mild physiological support and significant emotional soothing. Suitable for sensitive skin, children, and pets (consultation recommended).
Bach Flower Essences: Specifically for emotional, frequency, and energy healing. Used to balance the mind and soul; safe for plants, animals, and everyone.
Target Users
Essential Oils: Varies; different oils are suitable for different individuals based on their health profile.
Hydrosols: Ideal for sensitive skin, children, and pets.
Bach Flower Essences: Universal; suitable for plants, animals, and humans of all ages.
Application
Essential Oils: Must be diluted for topical application; also used through inhalation or diffusion.
Hydrosols: Can be sprayed directly on the skin/environment or used as a compress.
Bach Flower Essences: Typically taken orally (added to drinking water), used topically, or applied as a mist.
